SINOSEIKO (or SSK Diamond) manufactures and supplies premium PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond) die blanks for wire drawing applications. Based in Zhengzhou, Henan — the heart of China’s superhard materials industry — we leverage our certified manufacturing partnerships and in-house testing laboratories to deliver die blanks that outperform industry standards.
Our PCD wire drawing die blanks support diameters up to Φ40mm, making them suitable for coarse, medium, and fine wire drawing across steel, copper, aluminum, and specialty alloys.
Working Principle
In wire drawing, metal wire is pulled through a precision-shaped die hole to reduce its diameter. PCD die blanks serve as the core material for these dies. The polycrystalline diamond structure provides exceptional hardness (HV ≥ 7000), low friction coefficient, and outstanding resistance to abrasive wear — resulting in smoother wire surface finish, tighter diameter tolerances, and 3–5× longer die life compared to tungsten carbide alternatives.
