Product Overview
SINOSEIKO (or SSK Diamond) supplies premium TSP (Thermally Stable Polycrystalline) diamond products manufactured using ultra-high pressure and high temperature (HPHT) sintering technology. Unlike conventional PCD, TSP is produced without metallic catalyst binders, resulting in superior thermal stability up to 1200°C — making it the material of choice for the most demanding drilling and cutting environments.
Working Principle
TSP diamond is produced by directly sintering diamond particles under ultra-high pressure (5–6 GPa) and high temperature (1400–1600°C) without metallic catalyst. The absence of catalyst eliminates the thermal expansion mismatch between diamond and binder that limits conventional PCD performance at elevated temperatures. The resulting material maintains its hardness and structural integrity even in extreme heat environments where standard PCD would degrade.

Thermally Stable Polycrystalline (TSP) is thermally stable polycrystalline diamond product, which is manufactured by the same ultra-high pressure and high temperature techniques associated with other PCD products. Its binder is chemically inert and has a similar coefficient of thermal expansion to that of diamond. It is thermally stable up to 1200 degree Celsius. It can be manufactured into a variety of sizes and shapes (Cubes, Cylinder, Rectangles, Triangles, etc.)
Application:
One of the primary applications for TSP is wear protection on the gage of drill bits, It is suitable for oil drilling bits and mining bits, and can be used as a primary cutting element, in some cases.
